Students also began pre-reading activities for the novel, "Ember City" which we will begin next week. Activities can be found on D2L.

January 10th - 11th

Welcome to 2019! For this short week back to school, students completed a political spectrum survey to help inform their placement in a political party for the upcoming school election campaign. The survey will be considered, but not dictate which party they will be placed in as other factors such as group dynamics and numbers will also be considered. The school election campaign will begin next week. Students also began looking at collective rights guaranteed to FNMI, Francophone and Anglophone Canadians. This was studied through a historically critical analysis. Next week, students will begin a novel study on "The City of Ember."
